These filters determine which contracts or pairings are available for you to choose from in the option chain when setting up an option trade. Choose the number of contracts or pairings to display, whether to view calls or puts, strike range, and more.
Following are descriptions of each available filter, which will vary depending on the strategy you have selected:

Choose from a Basic or Theoretical view. Theoretical view changes the columns displayed to show theoretical value, Greeks, and intrinsic value (IV), and includes the ability to filter by Greek Model, change in Intrinsic Value, percent open interest, and more. You can also choose a custom column display by right-clicking in the option chain and selecting Columns and Settings. |
Show number of contracts/pairings | You can choose how many contracts or pairings display for a particular expiration date. Click the drop-down and select from All to 10 or fewer. |
Calls/Puts/Both | Choose whether to display Calls, Puts, or Both |
Intrinsic Value | Select whether you want to view options that are At the Money, In the Money, or Out of the Money |
Strike Range | The option chain will show potential trades where the difference between the two contract prices is equivalent to the strike range you specify |
Position to Close | For Rollouts, select the position you want to roll forward to a longer-term expiration date. |
Near Month | For Calendar Spreads, choose the near month expiration date |
